1. Cleaning after long-term shutdown: After a prolonged system shutdown, it is recommended to clean the filter material for approximately 5 minutes until the water runs clear. This helps remove any accumulated debris or sediment.

2. Equipment exhaust: Whether the system is running or has been stopped for a long time, it is advisable to exhaust the equipment. This can be done by opening the exhaust valve and allowing any trapped air to escape. In some cases, small filters may not have a separate exhaust valve, and air can be discharged through the exhaust port.

3. Air backwashing for large filters: For larger filters, air backwashing can be used to improve the backwashing effect. Compressed air with a strength of 10-18 pages/mm2 is typically used for this purpose.

4. Controlled cleaning intensity: When cleaning the equipment, it is important to control the scraping and cleaning intensity to avoid damaging the activated carbon cleaning system and causing leakage.

5. Regular replacement of activated carbon filtering material: The activated carbon filtering material should be replaced regularly, usually every 3-6 months, depending on the water quality of the water supply. This ensures optimal performance and effectiveness of the filter.
